Don't worry about it. Looks like another false call on my count (thought the front diff was out the other day and it's still like new). I pulled the CD out and it looks absolutely perfect. The sound was coming from the CD area, I'm going to check the pinion and make sure it wasn't loose and that noise was the set screw grinding on the flat spot. You can tell I used to own nothing but Traxxas stuff, I'm used to stuff breaking when it could be something far less complicated.

True. But usually when I had a problem it was obvious what it was; lower A-arm, tie rod, cracked wheel, bent shock, chassis broken in half, etc.
Dam telephone boxes jump up out of nowhere, ya know?
