killajb- everyone loves fire right?

i guess the only way to tell is to run both. im planning on the tekin system right now, but i also have a friend that runs for associated and i will have to talk to him as well about the lrp system. probably go with the cheaper of the two. all i can say is that choices are good and the fact that more manufactures are getting on bourd with 1/8 brushless can only help the class, sensored or not.

I used to have brushed controllers of lrp, the irc, ics stuff, and in my opinion the best and most reliable brushed-esc's to have. as far as I can tell as a "backyard-basher".
nowadays with brushless, what I have read about eg. the A.I. brushless escs (not that excellent), it's a bit sad that lrp is probably not top of the shelf anymore.

reg. the motors, motors always have been manufactured (and developped) by other companies, so thats not new and not a shame.

I think sensored esc's make sense in 1/8, due to the higher rotating masses, it might make it smoother. at least for racer-dudes. once the thing is rolling, it's not a problem.

I'm curious if that little cute sphere will be capable of a 1/8 buggy or even a truggy... if they were close enough to the scene, they would have had enough time to develop a new (6s) esc, but except a few brands, they're all sleeping.they already have the software and know-how, only would have to increase the capacity.

I have a cheapo chinese esc which works flawlessly, except the missing proportional break ... no smoke signs so far, no matter how hard the abuse is.
