Has anybody heard anything about this motor? The KB45-10XL in my XLB gave up when some of the windings came apart (no rotor damage/failure, the wires just came loose and were shredded by the rotor). Presently I am looking at the Feigao 580-8L (1649 kv) for my XLB on 6s 7400mah 20C Lipo.

Unless you guys think I should just stick with the Medusa 36-80-1600 at $25 more?

Absolutely medusa without a doubt. Just to be free of the heat worries that come with a fiegao is worth it, and then you get more runtime as a bonus. :)
