mamba max question - 03.13.2009, 08:04 PM

Should I use a ccbec with my mamba max esc when running 5s a123 m1 cells or should i not even worry about that?

On a Mamba Max, yes an external bec is required when running higher voltages. If it's a Mamba Monster you don't need it.

be sure that on the servo wire coming from the mamba max that you disconnect the middle red wire, so that you don't have the mamba and the ccbec powering your Rx and possibly damage it

what does rx stand for? radio something

rx stands for the receiver.....just disconnect the red wire on the plug from the esc the plugs into the receiver. Don't cut the wire...either tape it out of the way or heat shrink it
