I want to do a buggy conversion; which one do you guys like better? Which is lighter?

think the d8 is a bit lighter, depends if you have a problem with standard hadware, 1.0's are alot cheaper

I have owned both. The 8ight was very tough, but the D8 looks way better. I haven't gotten a chance to test the D8 thoroughly though.

Not quite yet. Just a short run in the grass. Not even a scratch on the chassis yet.

Both are great buggy's. I personally would go with an 8ight 1.0 over the D8. Supposidly once of the best racing platforms for a buggy. Havent heard much on the d8's results. In my opinion standard hex hardware is nice to have. Not saying that all people prefer it.

A couple months ago I got a new 8B 1.0 Race Roller for $360 shipped on eBay. I of course already had an 8T 1.0 so that wasn't a hard decision. If you have the cash, these are good times to find a deal on something.


Losi 8B 1.0, Tekno V3, Direct-Drive, 13/48, RX8, T8 1400kv
Losi 8B 1.5, Tekno V3 w/clutch (3-shoe), 14/48, MMM, Neu 1512 2Y
