well i left my smc 5000 mah 28c packs plugged into my maxx and i just took em out and they were fully discharged.
they wouldnt charge on my lipo charger so i put them on my nimh at 1 amp for 5 minutes and then put them on my lipo charger.they are charging fine now.

question is did i mess them up ? are they dangerous now ?

If they did not puff you are fine... Just make sure they are in balance before you fully charge them. I would suggest a low charge rate like 1 amp or less. Then give them an easy run and see if the stay in balance. If they do you are good to go.

i just charged one up to 7.70 and its balanced with no puffing. the 2nd one is on a low charge to get it up so i can put it on the lipo charger.

Sounds like you may be ok then... Just keep an eye on them!

i got a lipo sack and they will go in there. should i put them out in the garage ? its cold out.

You want the cells to be warm when charging, at least 70f.
