I'm sure the battery compartments are a similar size to the rc18 batteries... however, it comes with a 1600 mah pack (i believe) and the rc18 is only 1100. Which is a good sign... Good for the Bl-revo, it can hold two of those. which means you can run 3s 1300 (around there) in series for 2600 mah and massive runtimes. the speeds should be quite good too!

I happen to have a pair of 2200 2s lipos that are about the same size as a 6 cell 2/3a packs... Run those in parallel for 4400mah! 30mph is plenty for me in a vehicle this size, so imagine the run time with 4400 mah.
