I like hyperion, but the align style (what the zippies have) are just as good. I do not like the kokam taps on the neu lipos, or the tp/fp taps. I would go with align or hyperion.

They are all basically the same as far as quality goes. I personally choose to stick with Hyperion. I would rather solder on a couple tabs than be switching out boards all the time.

Whats wrong with the tp style? I like them better than the hyperion ones. More compact, easier to check individual cells with a multi meter, and to me they don't make the pack look cheap like a lot of other ones do.

They are more difficult to acquire, and I am not too fond of the fact that they do not have a 6s tap, you must use a combination of 5s and 3s taps...

I also like that hyperion use the same tap for 2-4s making it easier to reuse what you have when rewiring a pack.

Never though a tap could make a pack look cheap...

I guess it is all in what you like...

I think it's something to do with the big white plugs that just brings back memories of tamyia plugs for me.
