How to extend the life of Revo pivot boots?

I lube my pivot balls and boots with a silicone oil. A little on the pivot ball shafts where the boots contact will help the boot slide on the shaft and prevent tears when adjusting camber.

Alot of racers run without the boots because they do impact steering angle little bit. THere's no harm running without them if you clean your knuckles and pivot balls
