How many V1s and V2s were produced, think it was like 500 of each or some quite low figure ( RCM guinea pigs ftw! ). Still grateful for my V1 thats live and kicking

1000 V1s and 1200 V2s were shipped. But we will honor warranty on those units with no expiration date.

Hopefully word gets out and people will stop bitching about "failure rates"

ive never had a castle product fail on me
i dont understand why you have to pay sooo much for a similar novak system...but the novak one cant, be programed properly, use 3s+, have a good warrenty, have good CS, not blow up, have cheap repair costs, have more power, be more efficient.

castle just owns novak IMO

Hmmm, the only difference I have seen between my Novak and Castle is, Novak cant do as high voltage, and Castle takes longer for repairs. I have been setting track speed records and holding down 1st place on our new neighborhood track with my Novak, while my Castle has been in repair.
Granted we arent pro's on our track, but I have been keeping a head of E-revo's and nitro's with a good old Orange system.
I just dont see the advantage unless your into speed runs.
I have only had to use each company once to repair stuff. The orange company was wayy faster on return and much nicer on the phone.
To each his own I guess.
It is nice to know that each company tries to take care of the customer.
