No offense but the current HV systems just aren't up to par with the options from Castle and Tekin, I have no doubt the new ones will put up a good fight.
No offense taken. The HV was just a longer version of our 1/10 scale brushless system originally brought out to fill a brushless need for the E- Revo. It sold very well for this application.
We were very busy designing and manufacturing systems for the Crawler market and got a little behind the curve bringing out the bigger System for the 1/8 market but we plan on catching up in a hurry. The HV systems with the new 14mm rotor still work very well on small indoor tracks where you don't need the brute power the bigger motors have.

and they still work well for us 1/10 speed freaks

I would like to see a 14mm rotor with a 1/8in shaft though...

The 1/8" shaft is just too small for the torque that this rotor puts out plus we would sell very few which wouldn't cover the cost of a production run of 1/8 shafts.
