I found the solution for my MSR5 Shocks, as they were always soft. I removed the piston that is included in the Integy shock set and replaced it with a stock Traxxas 2 hole piston.

The OD of the piston is the same on both shocks, but the inside hole of the Traxxas piston needs to be drilled out to match the 3.5mm shock shaft of the MSR5(9/64" hole I think)

The "vent" holes in the Integy pistons are too large, that is why dampening action is hindered. Then I used 80 wt oil and hard springs (4 Traxxas black hard springs and 4 white Ofna 9.5 buggy springs)

Hope this helps...
