I think the answer may depend on your reason for wanting a battery that may or many not puff...

Is it fear of replacement cost? Is it fear of fire/damage to other parts of your rig?

If its the previous - get yourself some zippy's (or whatever the current label on them is), and run them till the die/explode/fade away/whatever, then buy another set.
If its the latter, then you'd be better off with PQ's, Mikes packs, Neu's, etc. From what I've been able to read (or absorb from reading....), you will better protect your ESC with a higher C rating, if that rating is in fact believable.

Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES
