i have owned 2 8ights and they are great, easy to get parts and upgrades, but i hate that they use standard hardware. why they dont use metric is beyond me.

about 2 weeks ago i saw that hyper 9e and i have to say it is probably the most impressive looking brushless "factory" kit. it has actually been built as a 1/8 electric instead of being converted from a nitro. plus you are able to run mech. brakes if you wish, which the other factory electrics dont give you that option and mech brakes are a great benefit, especially if you are used to having mech brakes with all your gas cars. i would say the hyper 9e is a great choice. ofna parts and hop ups are not hard to find either and are interchangeable with many of their other models.
