Ok, so the short answer to your question is no, its not a good single steering servo. It's low torque, a brand nobody has really ever heard of, and at only 8 bucks, your gonna get 8 bucks worth of running out it.
For a single, your going to need 200- 250 oz-in of torque. Otherwise, your better off running the stock setup.

Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES

Yes I have read about Tower Pro servos from airplane guys, they hate them. Bad centering, not that strong, premature wobble of death. That is for the 995. The new 996 is supposed to be better and those issues are supposed to be gone so I ordered two from HC and will see if they are any good. The 995 Tower Pro or Toward Pro has they are also labeled as are supposed to have a purple stickers on them. That servo you linked has no sticker on it and is referred to as a ''T Pro''. What is T Pro? Never heard of that one. I heard of Tower Pro and you seem to think the one you linked is one but I say it's not. Looks like a Turd Pro to me.

No brain, no headaches.
