The tranny is from the E-revo. As for the shafts...they are stock.

No problem with torque twist so far with the setup. Ran its first race this past weekend, and TQ'ed and won the main. Went faster first time out then my Revo did all year. The Revo won many races this year and I still love it, but this thing flat out outhandles, out turns and out jumps the revo. As for the E-revo trans, I have yet to see one break. I have ran alot more power through these tranmissions then I currently am running now.

Glad you are having good racing success with the LST. Those big shocks sure do smooth out rough areas. I have been much more impressed with the lst handling than the revo, which is surprising to me as the revo is lighter and has "super extra gangster" suspension design. I guess the big shocks and losi geometry just works better, huh!

My LST2 is .2lbs lighter then my Revo. If you look closely, my LST2 is not using stock shocks. They are 8T 2.0 shocks, Carbon Fiber 8T shock towers and swapping to the E-revo tranny saved ALOT of weight. Also I have droop screws on mine which makes a HUGE difference in handling as I can alter droop for different tracks. Essentially this truck is nothing more then a MT truggy...lol

Nice mods to the LST, glad it's working well.
I have a Carbon fiber chassised LST as well thinking of incorperating a CD in with RCM motor mount. One of my many "next" builds.

This truck is set on the XXL wheelbase. The guy I bought the truck from did a extensive build on it. The entire truck is Carbon Fiber.

Yes it lets you limit suspension travel downward for tuning turn in, rough sections of the track and rotation of the truck. All your pro truggy's and buggys's have them. No MT that I know of has them.

Yeah pretty much. Its stupid fast and handles unreal. I always thought my Revo would be hard to beat, but this sucker takes the cake.

The diffs are 40K front, and 7K rear. Really makes it turn on a dime.

That sounds like a good idea. Less weight than a tranny and you could use the slipperential. I haven't looked at the truck to see if it would work but instead of mounting the motor over the diff could you cut a hole in the top chassis plate and mount the motor beside the diff?

I had a quick look at Brian's calc. The pinion would need to be much smaller, 11-12t.

I was thinking the center diff and motor might fit more in between the top and lower chassis plates, the diff could moved off center just like the 8ightT ?????

Yeah, that's what I meant. As I said you would need to open up the top chassis for the motor to fit.
