 No. I used a sharp wood chisel, a few flat blade screw drivers and a lot of patience... th entire back side of the unit is filled with adhesive silicone... it took alot to get the thing off..I think my method of charging it was better.. Read through the amb manual and found out that the charging rack outputs 3v dc current.. so i found the only thing i had with 3v (2 alkaline cells, my handy-dandy game boy!) hooked some aligator clips to the battery terminals and onto the posts of the transponder.. its charging as we speak...
