Mayhem St - 12.26.2009, 06:29 AM

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...L:COSI:US:1123

Im new to the truggy world and ive heard there stronger than most mt's so i bought this rig on a whim. Are they any good? How durable are they? Im using it just for strait bashing i dont race, I would like to run some nice power through it (6s lipo xl type motor). its got some work that needs to be done to it but it already has some nice upgrades.

tell me what ya think guys?

That should make a great basher. I have a Mayhem buggy, very tough, only broke a few rod ends. It is my basher now that I got new race buggy. Only bad part is they have all been discontinued, so finding parts at hobby shops will get difficult. The good part is, parts are very cheap on ebay. I really miss that when buying parts for my new buggy, much more expensive.

Many of the Mayhem and turmoil buggy parts fit the ST. The diffs are the same ratio as in the Losi Muggy, and the rest of the diff parts are the same as LST2 and also 8ight.

The CF parts are the sportwerks upgrade parts... some on this page.

THIS seems cheap enough to get the whole axle.

I've seen a mayhem st on here that had a plastic spur to run standard pinions, i took my diff apart to find out I have no clue how to get the spur off.

Can any body help?

Four screws on the side. You don't have a manual? It is on p14.

I didn't have a problem finding the 4 screws, it was getting the diff gear off the output so i could change the spur. I sat there looking at it looking for a set screw a c-clip something, till i dropped it and the gear fell off.

I felt like a jack-A$$ lol
