Sounds like a cool project..I almost bought a hoped up LST2 for just bashing..

I just didn't feel the need to spend another $ 500+ to get it rolling while my other rc's are collecting dust.


1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S

Did you run your gearing through the speed calculator? I fear a 45t spur will be too small and you may be geared for the moon. I'm going to use a 52t in my LST center diff truck.

Another sound reason why I'm doing this, starting this build on a paid for foundation and the investment will be well within reason compared to starting from scratch. I only had to order the shocks,which I may not now use and tires,body and a few incidentals. Everything needed I had stashed in the "Treasure Drawer".


I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

If you do need lower gearing, just swap in the Muggy diffs.

I have Muggy gearing in my other LST, helped bunches ! Thanks
