High speed run setup

Can anyone give me some advice to setup my Slash for high speed runs. I need only straight line stability as possible. How shuold I adjust camber, toe, shock position and stiffness (oil and spring), ride high for rear and front. My electronics are proper for high speed runs, I use 200g weight on front and make my speed runs without body. Any detailed information will be much appreciated:)
If you have not much information about Slash any advice about to setup an offroad for high speed runs generally will help me too.

why without a body? you lose all aerodynamics without it. and your drag would go thru the roof...(lol sounds out of context)
i would say thick oil all around and as low as possible without rubbing bottom..and def limit your droop.. i would go with zero degrees for toe and camber as you need all the foward traction you can get. and have the front a little lower than the rear to help with down force.. if you keep it level when the truck squats on acceleration you will lose some traction on the front.

I'll run without body because the body of the traxxas Slash act like a parachute after 50mph.
Won't a thick oil cause bouncing?

well if your just doing high speed runs on a smooth surface how would it bounce? its not like your hitting bumps or anything... you can put a thinner oil but you will get alot more chassis roll...
just put a few holes in the rear of the body to help with airflow.... im sorry but it willl be very hard to get any decent speed runs without a body

Slam it to the ground, rake the rear up so you get more down force, throttle control is key.... my slash could barely keep the front wheels down..... but that was on 4s

I'll use a very large parking lot with asphalt not a test way so there could be some little roughness.
That will be a straight run so body roll isn't an issue
Anyway. Is there any different opinions?

I agree with most of this, but I would keep some toe-in on the rear to stop it fish-tailing you don't want to spin out every time you break rear traction, and I agree with Alport about the lack of body, while exposing the chassis/suspention will increase the drag coefficient considerably it reduces the frontal area massively resulting in a gross drag reduction and a slash body is not exactly a Lola so I doubt he will lose any downforce, it may well seem like he has more as the body drag so high above the CoG will be reducing the weight from the front wheels and moving it to the rear.

I would slam it and stiffen the spring/oil rates. Then adjust your camber/caster in the fronts to have 0 caster and camber. You want good contact in the front to provide traction and tracking.

In the rear I would look to some toe-in to help keep it going in a straight line. I would lower the rear but not slammed. Again stiffen the spring/oil.

I would look into some 17mm adaptors and find a set of GRP Rally premounts. These are the same as Losi rally tires which are now discontinued.

What motor are you running on 6s?

My choice would be a CC2650 on 6s for 1 or 2 passes only and then let it cool down.

What lipo are you running? I would also preheat the cells with a heat blanket or heater to about 105*F before the run.
