There may be a very small amount of binding somewhere...suspension, drive-train to cause the electronics to work harder. Or one of the motors just may be a little bit better than the other even though they are technically the same.

Are the esc settings identical as well?


1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S

There also could very possibly be a loose connection on the problem truck that is causing a slightly extra drain on the cells. It does not take much to cause this problem.

If there was any binding wouldnt every thing get hot and esc. thermal?

No not if it is only a slight resistance issue. Your only talking about a 3 minute differance. If it were ten or 15 minutes then yes there would be other evidence to stand on. 3 minutes hardly seems like something to get all wound up about IMO.

it would depend on how much there was...A friend of mine has a 1/8 buggy like mine except mine rolls easier than his...hence, I get longer run times on the same set up.

One truck could have bearings from different lots making it roll easier for example.
