If you want to charge your packs at 2C I would get at least a 300W capable power supply. Your current power supply is good for about 180W (assuming 80% efficiency) and you were trying to draw over 200W from it, that's why it got so hot and failed. Also, you are pushing your charger to the limits, as it is rated for 200W max. Always try to have some headroom, running stuff at the edge of it's rating will result in more heat and more failures.
