So is Mike developing a kit for the 8ights? I know he has a motor mount already. I'd like a custom battery tray and setup.

Do you have a link to these wraps? I'm interested in one.

Cadima: what did you use for a battery? Or should I ask, which one of Mike's trays?

Well the deal on my RC8T FT converted fell through. I just ordered a Losi 8ight-T 2.0. Getting the Losi $150 rebate as well.

N. Rustler conversion

I want in on one of those wraps as well! I have no time for nice paint jobs. As for the battery tray, not sure which of mike's it is. I just told him what I needed and let him pick it out. I will make my own when I get a chance though. I want the speedo more towards the center and I want the front to have a higher wall to keep the cells square when I crash.

So far I have done some test runs in the yard and the Losi seems to be delivering what I wanted. It just seems to turn like no other, can't put my finger on what it is about the steering geometry. The balance looks to be ideal as well. I confirmed the shock ends were over tightened and were popping off the shocks. Horizon is sending me a new set no charge. I hate the english hardware, however. Really, really not digging that. I wonder it there's a conversion to metric out there?!?

You got a non-vehicle-specific tray, cadima. I will have a specific tray soon that will place the ESC as close to the center as possible.
