As said the monster is spec-ed to run truggies and monster trucks, plus larger motors like the 1520 and 1717 caslte motors. I can imagine the fets on the monster are larger and more capable of handling large amp draw than the pro.

The pro is nice in that it gives the option of sensored usage and will also do 6s lipo. I know alot of 10th scale setups that would be great with 6s and lower kv motors.

I feel it is like the max vs the monster. You could use a max to run a buggy or an emaxx, and many got them to do 5s, but when you really wanted to run a big motor the max did not have much reserve.
