does anyone know if these are 2 pole or 4 pole?

It is a 2 pole 3 slot motor. It will have adjustable timing with a smaller range than the standard 1/10 motors.
4.5 is around 5000kv, 5.5 is around 4000kv. GTP-Pletty Big Maxximum+RX8. GTP-C50-6L Hacker+RX8. CRT.5-Pro4+ZTW esc. 24s2p EVG SX 49.6mph Ebike. 18s4p Raptor 60mph Ebike. 11.5KW |

Now that I'm thinking about it, my 1400kv 1/8 motor which was purchased seperatly didn't come with a cable.

We are considering lower kv's but we'd need a good reason to make them.
This motor should have a cable in the box. All of our sensor cables are underneath the foam in the package. |

There was a cable when I purchased the RX8 ESC and Truggy motor combo. But there was no sensor cable included with the buggy motor.

Got mine 5.5... cable was in the box..... when my conversion comes i'll report in! I was told to gear tall 4 teeth taller than normal in the pinion!
