Hydra ICE build is scheduled for the same timeframe as Mamba XL-HV.

Have you ever had an old friend coming to visit, and find yourself at the window watching down the road?

You know they are coming, but you just don't know exactly when.

Anticipation is making you wait.

As you watch down the road, you think to yourself, "Maybe I should have asked what time they were planning on leaving".

Patrick, Can you give an idea of the time frame?

Are we talking a few weeks, or are we still months out?

Thanks.

Well, probably six to eight weeks (if everything goes perfectly...)

6-8 weeks isnt too bad...

Like the MMM V1 that had problems, are we meant to expect minor faults with this new ESC or have all the faults and kinks been ironed out?

I don't think they would repeat the same "mistake" again. If there still are major issues with the first versions they will probably replace the ESC for you. (like MMM V2->V3)

Hi Patrick,
how are things going? Are you on track with the ESC's so the 6-8 weeks timeframe is still holds?

Thanks,
Thomas

Well said.... I've been waiting some time for the new stuff and seeing the HPI Baja in person at castle's booth 2 weeks ago made it so much worse. It's counter intuitive but so much so that I'm ordering up new parts right now, looks like Schulze is it for an ESC for the moment, hoping for some new Castle goodness soon.

Looks like the 8S controller is on schedule. The 12S controller still needs just a bit of work.

Thanx!

Did we ever get an answer regard whether the Mamba software will be able to be loaded on the current ICE HV160?

I would like to buy a ICE HV160 now for a marine project but would like to be able to use it in land applications in the future.

Has anyone got an update on these controllers, Patrick could you release a pic so that we can see what it looks like. Will it look more like a MMM or Phoenix ICE HV controller???
