looks like they added some MM combos and stand/alone MMs. the prices aren't as crazy good as the motors, but they aren't bad either.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

After the MMP came out there wasn't much reason to buy an MM (at least not for the same price). Now there is a little more motivation.

I wonder what Castle is telling the retailers who contact them ("Dealers holding stock affected by this sale should contact Castle directly.")

I read earlier in this thread about the 1717 air version being sent for the car 1717.When I ordered my 1717 I added a note to send the car version. My email invoice says air version.I need the longer wires of the car version to reach to my MMM.The KV difference and is no big deal. But these deals are great. And for 70 dollars I am STOKED

Bleh, just extend the wires with a tidy butt joint- wont make any difference to current flow etc.

I just got a ransom note in the mail from ParcelFarce; they want £10.60 for VAT & £8 for a clearance fee; just paid that so I should have the motor on tuesday.

Not the same as Linc's & Harold's, I'll say that much...

I extended my MMM's battery wires to reach the front of the truck where the battery tray is- the join is so neat you wouldnt notice it except for the shrink covering the bare wire.

Benji we just have to be patient. Castle has great support but they do not have a system or enough staff to deal with this volume of orders. If you are really worried about it, it's best to give them a call.
KW, did you order online? Did you enter it properly?

I'm trying to sort it out on this end, and if you entered it online I'm concerned.

Thanks

Lee

I received an air 1717 instead of a car version. I got an email from Thomas on the delivery date (10/28) to explain the mix up and offer an exchange if I replied to the email. I've replied a couple of times, but with no response. I know you guys are swamped, but just a little concerned about not getting the right version if all the motors go.

Is there a better way to go about this? Thanks!

Some orders that were pulled from the web server were not automatically transferred into the ordering system; so they have to be hand entered and could take a bit longer to process. If you don't receive an e-mail with the invoice by Thursday afternoon, I would recommend shooting an e-mail to sales.

I placed 2 orders on the 24th.

I received the email confirmation with the 12 digit number. But haven't received anything since.

I did email CS and recieved the following response.

"All orders processed within the last seven days will be processed and shipped by 10/04/2010. Thanks "

I hope these orders didn't fall through the cracks somewhere.
