Wiring for a BK120 - 03.09.2006, 07:31 AM

I did search, but I did not find exactly what I was looking for. I am wiring my BK120 and it has two black/two red wires on the battery side of the ESC. Do the two blacks just get wired together on one side of the Deans connector? Then same with the reds and that would complete the male side of the Deans?
There are six wires on the motor side of the ESC. I am assuming two wires for each of the three motor phases. So, two of the ESC wires need to get connected to one of three motor wires? And then so on until I am done.
Thanks for the help and clarification.
Matt

Yes, you are right. Just treat the double wires as if they were one.

Would I be correct in assuming that if I wanted to parallel two battery packs I would just need to put a deans connector on each set of red & black wires? Then plug into the two seperate packs.

That would work indeed.

I am sorry for jumping in on the string, but I am a new guy waiting for the 8xl to get in. I have the 12020. Can I ask a question so I set it up right. The two black wires go on the negative of one deans connector, the two red go on the positive on another deans connector. Do I then run a wire between the + to + and - to - of the two connectors? Will deans battery wire work? Any one with a picture? Thanks!

Thank you:018:. Took me about 30 - 40 minutes to make:025:. I don't even have a 12020 controller, just a 9920 with only 1 set of wires, so I based it off what I've heard about it as well as off my own controller.

Thanx again,
Brijar!!!

Yes, W.S. Deans Wire is very nice and an excellent choice. If you have to use wire for anythin RC related, use Deans wire unless it is small wire such as receiver wires and servo wires.

There was a pic on the forum. I want to say it was posted by papa. It showed where the black jumper was.
