Need to know if this will fit a savage - 04.12.2011, 09:21 PM

Im thinking of ordering this servo but need to know if it will fit since it is taller than a normal servo. Has anyone used it?

Flux radio box has 30mm clearance from the mount point to the bit of plastic that would hit the base of the servo.

Looking at the diagram here http://www.savoxusa.com/ProductDetai...Show=TechSpecs it doesn't have the dimension from the base to the mount point like some of their other servos. Doing a rough proportional calc though off the diagram I get about 31mm. So likely you would have to modify the radio box.

Btw, that servo is brushed not coreless.

Don't have a Savage myself, but do some measuring and compare. Here are the measurments from that link. What do you have room for? I am sure that you can make it work if you are willing to do a little fab work on your own. It looks pretty close from what I read.

40.7x19.6x42.4mm
