Is anyone running a plastic spur on there D8 or D8T?

Other than the noise it is all working out well. Everything worked the first time hooking it up, esc programmed on the first try and it was all really easy actually.

I just need to wait for my Tekin hotwire to come in then I can driving it.

Does anyone have a good starting point for programming the RX8?

Thanks,
Nick
I used Kyosho plastic spurs but all of them were eaten alive within a run or two. Don't bother unless you're racing or the sound starts to really bother you AND you plan to run the mechanical brakes.

Good call on Mike's center diff plate, I told you that thing is a must!

Your gearing and everything looks pretty good. Give it a run and after a few passes check the temps. As for the Rx8 setup, start with 40% brake power and go from there. Oh and use FWD/DEL, it's forward with brake but a delay between brake and reverse.

:D
