One of the reasons I left eBay for good this year. One guy filed a SNAD complaint on an OS engine I sold. I gave him a refund and he sent back an old, worn out, stock 4.6 Savage engine and kept the new .30 OS. Paypal and eBay were no help. Go to the sellers central forum on eBay and see the many horror stories.

You should've mailed it back to him with a turd as packing material.
