the Chinglish "manual"
the Gyro will not lock unless you have the yellow wire on a Ch.
and is for the Gyro trim...
the gyro takes its trim data off the yellow wire and will not initialize without it.
even if you don't use Ch3 on your Rx it does have data on it
as long as the gyro can see data on the trim line it will initialize
you just wont have control of the gyro and how it works.

if I use my 2Ch TX on this Ch3 data is +100% by default
and the Gyro is Crazy sensitive and i have No control over it.
but i use my 3Ch TX All of the time.
here is how its set

the ek2-0704 gyro is a Basic gyro and don't have a trim line
you can only set or control the sensitivity by the control on the gyro
Hence you can use it on a Rx with only 2Ch

The ek2-0704B is a Pro gyro with trim control.
yes a "default" mode without hooking the yellow wire would have been nice but no such luck.
But you have More control with the trim ......
you can control just how much Gyro you want from No Gyro to Crazy sensitive
just by setting the Ch3 Data rate and trim.
on mine i have my Limet set to MAX
Delay set to its MINIMUM
and the Switch set to REV

I hpoe this was a help to ya..........
