it's a t-bone rear bumper (front is bigger and the OP said it rubbed against the mashers) that was installed in the front. they are basically the bumper that RPM never made and they are great at preventing knuckle and a-arm breakage. i had a set on my old rustler and i went from breaking 1-2 knuckles and caster blocks every run to breaking only one after about 30 runs.

Correct. In the first pictures with stock wheels and tires it's the frontbumper.
In the pictures with the mashers it's the rearbumper.

Both are a direct fit, they come with longer screws for a perfect fit. I really love those T-bones. I'm installing them on al my vehicles
