I tend to aggree with RC Toy though. Aluminum Knuckles aren't a bad idea.

The hub of a wheel is centered over the knuckle for a reason. It keeps all of the force on the bearings rotational. Offset wheels are a better idea.
The extenders act just like levers putting unwanted stress on the bearings.
Additionally, the length from the knuckle exaggerates any wheel imbalance.
It's just not the ideal way to widen a truck.
