HPI 5SC Flux 1/5 Scale Savage Based RTR - 05.22.2012, 09:09 PM

Anyone seen this?

I guess if weight is low enough and with 6s only the MMM/2200 setup should be okay. I would have preferred the 1717 though.

Still cool and right at 1k.

It's written that it has a savage drivetrain AND a center diff. It looks like a savage tranny/motor mount setup. Did they stuff a center diff in a savage tranny?

I'd take a 5ive-T with a 2028 over this

Looks good though.

To me it seems underpowered for its size, also looks like a nightmare to work on.

does anyone have an first hand experience with this?

How much of a difference is this from doing say a Savage Flux conversion with the TCS parts?

I think they're going to have lots of problems with the MMM/2200 system in this thing, since it weighs 21lbs with batteries according to this guy:

Since it weight a lot more and is using the same motor as the savag flux hp they must have geared it down.
Dont think it will be underpowered though.

If its got a center diff, there will lots of happy savage flux owners out there, myself included. It would be perfect for my flux XL

Built Ford tough, with Chevy stuff.

Good man and you?

Doing a 5th savage conversion using the Alza Racing stuff. Looks good. Excited to give it a go.
