I would stick with the dude mount because it is meant to fit the 1717 as long as you have the m4 swivel plate and the RCmonster mount that I used isn't. I found the old 1717 on chance.

Took the truck over to a friends house for a bash session and the RcMonster mount gave out on me and stripped out the holes, I think the screws may have been a little short after the spacer to make the 1717 fit.



Then I noticed it wasn't driving right before the mount messed up so after I got home I started checking the truck over and found I had broke a pin in the rear outdrive cup and apparently shattered the bevel gear in the diff.



So today I got my titanium motor mount and single speed hub so I can get that part taken care of and now I am waiting on new gears for the rear diff.
