That is a good question, and one I have thought about previously with my G4 build. It wouldn't work because of the motor mount being held by the x-braces on the G1,G2/G3. We do not have these on the G4 and as such it would be very difficult to make work. Now I never say never, because we are extremely lucky to have some very resourceful friends in this hobby that I am continually amazed by the work they perform.

But you look at pics 5 & 6 of post #3 above, you will see what I am talking about. Also pics 4,5,6 & 7 of post #4 you can see there also. The motor mount would not have anything to hold onto on a G4 chassis... I cannot post pics to detail it perfectly as I am at work and I am unable to access file sharing sites as a result of strict security. I will update tonight once I am at home, but you should get the idea from my notes above anyway.
