Pics of your Pede and Rustys please. - 04.14.2006, 11:27 AM

I need pictures so I can get some ideas on how I am going to do the electronics and battery mounts on my FLM rusty and pede. I run different sized Lipo packs so I need some way to use the Gorilla battery straps. Please post pics of your pedes and rustys with all of the electronics mounted and battery in place.

Here is what I have so far, but as you can see, I will be starting over with a FLM chassi. Carbon fiber sucks.

This is the only pic I have of my pede at the moment. It too will be getting FLM everything.

My Rustler has:
-Nitro Rustler front spindle/block conversion with aluminum carriers
-FLM extended front arms
-RPM wide bumper
-fiberglass shock tower (cracked the CF one)
-Duratrax Overdrive ST shocks with soft springs and 30wt. oil
-FLM front bulkhead
-custom chassis from 1/4" polycarbonate with aluminum angle pieces for stiffening and battery holding (need to put a brace from upper deck to angle pieces)
-Blue Bird BMS-620mg servo
-Electric Power 4s 5400mah 8C Lipo battery custom modified to fit the chassis (also use this battery in my 1/8 buggy)
-Ofna 1/8 Super Shocks in the rear (VERY nice)
-cut up stock shock tower on custom aluminum tower (needs replacing)
-FLM aluminum gearbox (I've scraped the crap out of it!)
-aluminum idler, steel top gear, stock differential
-Feigao 540 12s (loose front enbell) with MGM Compro 12012 and a XUS Hobby UBEC
-HPI Yokohoma tires on Traxxas lightweight wheels

The front aluminum carriers are these:

They are for the Nitro Rustler, which uses a different wheel setup, where the bearings go into the wheels (like Associated and Losi). I forgot to mention that I am also using aluminum rear axle carriers:
