I have no worries about operating it. I am more concerned about programming it. When you plug the spektrum up it is not in the full reverse mode like the mgm needs.

The MGM actually requires full reverse from the receiver on powerup?? :eek: That sounds a bit dangerous for normal operation! The only thing I can think of to get around that would be to unplug the ESC, power up the Tx/Rx, set the Tx to full reverse, and then plug the ESC back in...

I guess I have to figure it out once the new one gets here. I just have to get past the first part. I had probelms trying it on my other 12012. I though about a receiver pack and get the rx up and then plug batteries in for esc.

I didn't need a rx pack to program my MGM16024 with the Spektrum radio.
