If you want it to look really clean, you can take the servo apart and desolder the wires from the circuit board. Then cut the wires to shorten them and resolder them back to the board. It's really not that hard. I've done it to several servos, and I'm no soldering expert. You do need to use a very small tip on the soldering iron, though.
