I run the dogbone conversion in my Rustler, and haven't had any problems with it handling the power. However, after a while the dogbone cups (axle and diff output ends) to end up with notches in them. This is with a Feigao 540 12s (3000 kv) and a Mamba Max 4600 motor, both on 4s Lipo.
