Have you checked your speed with the 4600 yet, metalman? Just wondering if you've beaten my pede speed run yet. :005:

My range is limited to about 100ft. in each direction, which is not nearly enough open space. I think it's my transmitter, as it does this with 2 different Novak XXL receivers with different TX and RX crystals.

You should invest in a Spectrum when you have the funds.

The problem is, I don't know when I'll get the money (getting my paycheck today and then I'm going to spend $180 on a 4s Lipo setup for my 1/8 buggy). I have the MX-3 75mhz FM transmitter. Airtronics is located about 20-30mi. from where I live, so I might just go there and see if they can do anything about it.

What good are the lipos if you can't run your truck???? Id deal w/ the radio and get it running right before upgrades. Thats just my opinion.

The battery's not an upgrade... The buggy isn't running because I have no power for it that will fit the chassis. But if anyone has a Spektrum system for sale for a good price I would definitely consider it an option :).
