Conversion Kit for Savage X - 08.15.2006, 10:49 AM

Hello ,

Since I get quite a few complaints about the noise level from my Savage X, I was wondering if there is a conversion kit for this model. I want to fit a nice brushless engine , but keep the 2 speed gear box and dual disc brakes as well

Is this possible ??

It is possible to run the brushless with 2 speed and brake. The 2 speed has to run with the brake accually. I don't know of a kit right off for it.
You would need a y connector for brake servo and esc or you can have it with the mixing feature on some radios.

Peace!

Well I designed and had the motor mount made.
I made the bottom battery tray as well.
I not sure on a kit for it.
It used to be one around. Pm or ask serum. He would know more on kit.

Can Mike make any other mounts as well? I'd love to get a mount/battery tray for the new Losi 8ight. Anyone seen one in person? Enough room to fit all the electronics in there? An MBX5 would do me as well. :)

Please tell me that's not smoke I see!

Mike can make you pretty much anything if you have a CAD drawing or a sketch.
