Maxxler.. Djeez.. I dunno.. LOL Yeah, maxxler has got topnotch CNC mill.. LOL but he is very, very busy at this moment. He is still going to school which is absorbing most of his time.

Correct i have a CNC, but i think Mike will do a great job so no help from me will needed.

I would say i'm not so busy but the day has only not enough hours^^
No my time i can spent for the hobby is limited but i think this problem haas all guys here.

the guys at kershaw Emailed me saying they have some kind of center diff with slipper on it also.... I'm anxious to see what that is.... but that slipperential looks so awesome.... maybe instead of the new RC, I should get a mill instead.. :)

Taig has these mini manual mills for around $1500.. and around $2000 for cnc... I gotta do something.... I already have my bags packed... headin' to Mikes Later today.. :) j/k

having a mill is one thing, knowing how to handle a CNC is a different bag.. It's hard to find it out if you don't have got anyone to puppy-train you..

CVDs.... anything better than the Unlimited Engineering Ti w/ 8mm?... cuz that's just way too expensive...

UE steel cvds with 8mm axles are much cheaper and much stronger.

so they're stronger?.... cool... they're thicker than the MIP ones right? Because I've worn out many MIP ones.... I wonder if the Genesis or LST CVDs would fit... they're pretty thick.. I don't wanna use my custom 10mm anymore... just too heavy..

The UE 8mm cvd's are the toughest I've seen. Even the 6mm UE's are plenty tough.

LST shafts are not thick?

the difference between the UE 6 and 8mm is only the output shaft..(the part that mounts to the hex./wheel one is 6, while the other is 8mm. you also need knuckles that fit the bearings needed for the 8mm's.

You are correct.

That is why I have UE 6mm. I have the 15mm racer-X knuckles. Ever see a 8mm x 15mm bearing? I haven't! I've wondered if it it possible to bore out the knuckles to accept a 16mm bearing but it looks to me like Robin reshaped the 16mm knuckles and enlarged the bore rather than just enlarging the bearing bore alone.

hmm... I guess I'll just stick to the 6mm to save the hassle... but doesn't the rpm knuckles support the 16mm bearings?...

Actually, there are two types of bearings used in the supermaxx:
The ones most people use are the 8x16x5mm and the ones used with the six mm axles are the 6x16x5mm.
Almost all buggies and truggies uses the 8x16x5mm bearings. I did not go for it, simply because I thought that the 6x16x5 incorporates larger balls and thus, they are more corrosion resistant.
I think the 8x16x5 ones has smaller balls.
