Ahh, I get it now. You mean "don't get cheap, no-name batteries". I took it to mean "don't bother wasting money on good batteries". No problem, I didn't think you meant what it sounded like (to me). :)

Don't know for sure, that's why i asked.

anyway, good cells are a must for a BL setup. the power won't be higher than the power the batteries can deliver.

Basicaly what Serum was saying is that the best bl set up is worthless without good batteries. So here is a couple of bl motors, to search for, that a lot of people are running, Feigao, Wanderer, Nue,and Lehner. And for controllers BKwarrior9920 or 20120,Quark125, and MGMcompro160. As you can see there are multple configurations that can be used. Everybody has their own opinion based on quality, price and batteries being used. Start with batteries and motor combo then select the esc that fits your previos choices.
Edit:Obviosly start on paper befor buying to make sure you will fit your budget and speed requirements. Most of the items are you get what you pay for. The higher priced items are usually better or best. Ask questions about your set up when you think you have it figured out.Eveeryone is usually happy to throw their 2 cents in.

So many toys and so little time
