I have run the 2.5D in 1/8 buggy and truck and I'm very happy with it. I had a hard time decided which wind to get also... I considered the same motors as listed.

I figured the 1700kv was a good fit for the truggy and the "sane" racing speeds I was after. The 2200kv I think could be geared low enough also.... but in the end I thought the lower kv was good and it will be much better suited for running higher voltage when the Monster comes out. :)

Imagine a 1515 1700kv on 6s or 8s for some insane speed runs...... eek!

On 4s/14 cells the 1500/1700 need some tall gearing if you want to go really fast... what vehicle and speed goals is this for?
