1) It doesnt increase the speed enough to notice it.. but the smoothness will be uncomparable (the single speed is smoooth as butter).
2)Depending on what your running, if you running BL, you will still wheelie, even with the stock titans and good 14 cell packs you would still be able to wheelie.
3) There is pretty much no maitenance other than bearing cleaning every now and than.


The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Actually, my E would wheelie in second gear with just 6 cell GP3700's. This was without a single speed as well!
