Hi Erkan! welcome!

yes, the mechanical brake is an option, but it is not a problem to use the motor-brake.

I would personally not use a solid centershaft. it will put much more stress on the drivetrain /front/rear diffs.

It would be the easiest to use a Kyosho 46T spur and choose a motor with the right KV. an outrunner is not very good for a car. I would take an inrunner instead. Since a relative heavy part is far away from the centre the motor will take longer to spin up and down.
