What size and color do you need?

Adhesive lined or regular?

If you are talking about the stuff on the outside of the lipo packs I have bought it from TrueRc.com. The stuff I got there was nice and thick and tough. I have bought some from ebay once, but it was really thin and crappy.

If you are talking about the small stuff for wires, then any hardware store has it.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Didn't know they had so many kinds.
I want some to cover a set of wires.
It needs to be about the size that comes with the quark.
Black would be fine. Not to worried about being perfect.

How much do you need?

I have some in the warehouse I could mail to you tonight. Just need to know what size wires your covering. Give me a diameter.

Buy most autoparts stores, home centers, hardware stores, and marine supply houses sell it. It should be easy to find.

How do you measure like the diameter of it or flatten it out and measure across?

Just hold a ruler (tape measure, etc) across the wire and "eyeball" the diameter. 12g wires are 3/16" maybe.

Heat shrink shrinks to about 50% of its "unshrunken" size so 1/4" shrink covers 1/8" to almost 1/4" dia wires....for example....

Well in that case. I would need in the 3/8 range or better.
I measured a small piece I had.
It looks like flat 13mm across would work if laid out flat.
I need in the neighborhood of about 100 mm long.
Do you happen to know if the radio shack sells this stuff?
I could hit a store tomorrow. I be in town near one.
Gee. That sounded countrified. :D

Yes, Radio Shack sells heat shrink!

BTW, don't hit a store...you'll get arrested and we might (just maybe) miss you. :032:
