Lipo configuration - 01.14.2007, 12:32 PM

Guys,

My 149.18 controller has four battery leads, two reds and two blacks.

If I use the two 3s packs I have like that, it means I'll double up the cpacity and not the voltage.

I then thought that I could actually connect the negative lead from pack one with the positive lead from pack two and make all four leads of the controller into two main leads which will connect to the remaining leads of the two 3s packs.

I did it and it worked quite well, but...in the long run, will I face some sort of malfunction in the lipo's performance?

Is it possible that a shortening might occur?

What about the possibility of discharging some voltage from one pack to the other in the process?

Thanks,

Alawi El-Jifri..:)

I doubt there will be any malfunction with the performance..

It shouldnt be a problem since you arent experiencing any problems when you ran it, and i doubt over time any different will occur, your balancing your lipos too , right?

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Thanks, though.
